District Rears Child Activists

At the White House this morning some local elementary school children put their freedom of speech to good use. Their tiny voices demand Senate representation for Washington, DC.

Moving Party

I had fun and got some good exercise while helping my friends the Mokey's move this weekend

A Weekend of Backseat Driving

I did a lot of backseat driving this weekend. This is up in Adams-Morgan.

. . .

Here is my friend Matt in the backseat of a car in Mclean, Va. While I was in the great suburb of McLean I noticed this fine example of Americana (McDonald's) architecture that I never see in DC, and use to take for granted.

The 05-05-05 Triple-Threat Cinco de Mayo

A man once told me he decided to go to the Corcoran College after attending one of the school parties

. . .

That man eventually dropped out to become a rock star

. . .

Chris Brooks doesn't drink, therefore he was the initial designated dunkee

. . .

Celebrating students brought the house down, the moon bounce house.

Artistic Movement

In exchange for the promise of ginger chicken from Mehran (Pakistani Restaurant near George Washington Circle) I helped a friend Juan move some paintings from the Corcoran Gallery to V St NW. We pushed the cart down, what seemed like several miles the sidewalks stopping every half block to readjust the paintings.
