Loud, Rainy Night Game

I went to a rain-delayed night game with some friends. I screamed my head off for the Washington Nationals even though their opponents were my favorite childhood team the Pittsburgh Pirates. "Bay you Yunz'er! Go back to Pittsburgh!"

Summer Baseball

I went to a great baseball game yesterday. It's hard to believe how only months ago Washington wasn't sure if it would have a team or not. Now the Washington Nationals are one of the best teams in baseball. I imagine last years' Montreal Expos are excited to be out of Canada.

Seussian Sunset

Here is a sunset from Adams-Morgan. It reminds me of prehistoric times. Only the brilliant colors are created by man-made pollutants and not a volcanic eruption or dinosaur farts.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious."

Storm Front

Yesterday I saw the storm rise over the buildings as I started my walk home. It was a race against Mother Nature. I made it home and closed my last window as the rain started to pour. June 6th also marks the first day this year I've used air conditioning.
