Loud, Rainy Night Game

I went to a rain-delayed night game with some friends. I screamed my head off for the Washington Nationals even though their opponents were my favorite childhood team the Pittsburgh Pirates. "Bay you Yunz'er! Go back to Pittsburgh!"

Summer Baseball

I went to a great baseball game yesterday. It's hard to believe how only months ago Washington wasn't sure if it would have a team or not. Now the Washington Nationals are one of the best teams in baseball. I imagine last years' Montreal Expos are excited to be out of Canada.

Seussian Sunset

Here is a sunset from Adams-Morgan. It reminds me of prehistoric times. Only the brilliant colors are created by man-made pollutants and not a volcanic eruption or dinosaur farts.

Hyper Reality

This is a photo I took to simulate my memories as a pedestrian.

John Ziegler- Conservative Radio Host

"At worst we framed a very bad man," John Ziegler, speaking of Saddam Hussein in defense of the U.S. decision to invade Iraq.

Beautiful and Muggy

In the winter when I day dream of short-sleeved shirts and mini skirts. I forget forget about humidity. And I remember not to wear my mini skirt in public.

Rolling with Craig Walker

I saw my friend Craig today moving to another apartment. I looked around for a moving truck but there wasn't one. He was moving to an apartment only a block away. I grabbed a laundry hamper full of blankets and followed him down the block.

RE: VFP Downing Street Hearings Moved to US Capitol 2:30 White House Rally 5 PM

Because I am a member of Vets for Peace I receive the heads up (via email) on countless opportunities to practice the constitutional right of protest. In the immortal words of a true American Hero and U.S. Marine Brig. Gen Smedley Butler, "War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious."

Allusions of Wayne Brady

Wayne Brady has the ability to reach all genres of the entertainment industry. Have you ever heard him sing on "Who's Line Is It Anyway?"

The Black Cat

Last night at The Black Cat a Scotsman took the stage.

Storm Front

Yesterday I saw the storm rise over the buildings as I started my walk home. It was a race against Mother Nature. I made it home and closed my last window as the rain started to pour. June 6th also marks the first day this year I've used air conditioning.
